Sound recording of the various birds in Trinity Park in Durham. The recording was made at 9:30 in the morning on a sunny day in February. Trinity Park is a small suburb park covered with trees offering home to a multitude of birds. Recorded with Zoom H4N.
Compound meter occurs when the macrobeat in a given time signature is divided into three smaller microbeats rather than two.  This example is in compound duple 6/8 time and occurs in the sinfonia for La Villana Riconosciuta by Domenico Cimarosa (1749-1801), in the second movement, Allegro.
A triplet is a rhythmic feature in which a beat is subdivided into three. Triplets were a common feature of the galant style of the eighteenth century. This excerpt includes 15 examples of triplets played by violins, both ascending and descending.

This is the sound of a human and a dog playing the game, "Tug of War". Attempting to pull the rope away from its owner, the dog made several sounds such as stepping, growling, and jingling its collar.

Sound recording of the pages of the book Computer Organization and Design: The Hardware/Software Interface being flipped through by a student. The student is turning the pages one at a time. She was not reading the book at the time of the recording. A student who reads this book would be turning the pages at a much slower rate, in order to read all of the information contained in it. Recorded on a Zoom H4n.
