Sound recording of a person getting off the Bull City Connector, a local bus in Durham, NC. As the bus comes to a stop, the door rattles and makes a ticking sound. The door clicks open, and the bus lets air out to lower itself for the person getting off. There is an announcement for the safety of the passengers, from both the inside and the outside of the bus. Air whooshes out as the break is released, and the bus leaves with a loud engine noise, getting quieter as the bus moves farther away. Recorded on a Zoom H4N.

Sound recording of a shopper closing a freezer door in the frozen foods section of the supermarket. The hum of the inside of the freezer is heard at the beginning of the piece, and becomes more and more faint as the door closes. The door closes with a slam, and then another shopper is heard closing a second door directly afterwards, which closes after bouncing back open for a breif second. Recorded using a Zoom H4N audio recorder.

Sound Recording of cars driving through a large puddle after a day filled with severe thunderstorms. The cars can be heard approaching from the left side. When they reach the beginning of the puddle, there is an audible slosh. Both continue to drive through the puddle until they reach its deepest point, where water covers half the tire. At this point, each car makes a splash, and then continues to drive off to the right side. Recorded using a Zoom H4N audio recorder.
