On a bright and cold Sunday morning, a few families bring their children to the playground at Durham Central Park. Off in the distance are also teenagers enjoying their weekend at the skate park up the hill from the playground. Birds chirp happily in the background. Occasionally, the faint sounds of cars rumbling by are audible. Recorded using a Zoom H4n.
Sound recording of an Ingles supermarket employee working in the produce section husking corn for consumption. Corn husked using large scissors as the worker cut off each end of a stalk of corn and then proceeded to the next stalk of corn. Sound recorded using Zoom H4N Pro handy recorder.

Sound recording of a set of keys being inserted into an SUV ignition tumbler switch. After a second the key is turned which promotes the engine to turn on and a rhythmic beep to sound as the car begins to warm up and then settle. This was recorded on a rainy day, so there are faint sounds of rain droplets landing on the roof and hood of the car. The vehicle has around 86,000miles and is a 2012 Toyota Rav4.

Rhythmic tension created by the stressing of weak beats and the de-emphasizing of strong beats. This phenomenon is first heard in the violins followed by an iteration from the oboe.
Syncopation, includes variety rhythm which interrupted the regular rhythm and emphasize on weakness beats. This is audio is from Edouard Du Puy's Ouverture. The upper strings apart; contrast to lower strings, use syncopation to make music more interesting. This is an common technique on galant music.
