This recording was taken in the left wing of Marketplace Dining Hall on Duke University East Campus at 7:45 on a Tuesday in October of 2015. In the recording you will hear the clinking of dishes, people talking, and music in the background.
This audio snippet was recorded at the Bryan Center at Duke, a multi-purpose student facilities center housing numerous restaurants, conference rooms, and other facilities. This snippet was recorded at around 11 PM on a Tuesday, on one of the dining tables near the McDonald's restaurant in the open areas. A track with a main focus on a casual amateur piano improvisation, running parallel to the general noise of a busy, shared, closed college environment. This is captured audio from my girlfriend eating popcorn that she had recently just popped. Hearing audio of things being chewed throughout this website actually made me intrigued how there wasn't any audio of anyone eating popcorn. I recorded her when she didn't notice, and you are able to realized that not every chew sounds the same, as well as her breathing somewhat hard because of how hot the popcorn was.
