This is a recording of an automated toilet flushing. Since it was automated, there is no sound of a handle being pushed down. The recording was done in a public restroom in Cabell Library. The restroom was on the 2nd floor in the women's room and there were no other people or sounds in the bathroom at the time of the recording. A recording of the usually flooded Skiles walkway at Georgia Tech. Today, a calm Saturday afternoon, the space was instead serene with the chirping of birds and a small echo of a performance in the amphitheater across Tech Green. There is also a light murmur of people playing Frisbee on the green. This is a rare sight to see as on any weekday there would be a cascade of noise on the walkway. A player begins to do several warm ups before practicing piece. An excerpt of the warm up is selected, here is a 3 octave A major scale. You can hear the player go higher and higher in the octave. As octave got higher, noise isn't as strong so the sound is begin to be lost. You can also hear squeaks and the bow isn't in a continuous motion so you can hear pauses in between.
