Walking in heels on a tile floor, followed by a door shutting in a Virginia Commonwealth University Dorm. The heels responsible for the sound are Steve Madden knee high boots, the wide heel on the boot results in a deeper sound. Recorded on a Zoom H4n.

The sound of Dr Martens matte Air Ware's being cleaned with a Kiwi ExpressShine boot polishing kit. Methodical, yet still a bit rushed because I had class later and wanted them clean, but nonetheless soothing. Polishing these boots is one of my simplest pleasures, and I think caring for any object will bring you closer to it.
