Sound recording of a shopper closing a freezer door in the frozen foods section of the supermarket. The hum of the inside of the freezer is heard at the beginning of the piece, and becomes more and more faint as the door closes. The door closes with a slam, and then another shopper is heard closing a second door directly afterwards, which closes after bouncing back open for a breif second. Recorded using a Zoom H4N audio recorder.

Sound recording of the rooftop garden on top of the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons on a windy afternoon. The primary sounds include a group of students collaborating together for a project along with birds chirping. The strong winds and the machinery noise from the Bunger-Henry building's roof across Tech Green are the secondary sounds. The sound was recorded with an Apple iPhone 7 using the voice memos application.
Soundscape of Duke Club Badminton practice. In the beginning, you hear a long serve. This is followed by several short shots, perhaps drives near the nets. Then, around the 7sec mark, you hear a smash, and then a jump smash at around 13sec. Throughout, you hear that some shots sound closer than others. You will also hear echoing; this gives a sense of space that reflects the environment of Card Gym where practice is held.
