Sound recording of The Room Essentials Task Lamp (desk lamp) with a plastic shade, a metal body, and a plastic knob being turned on and off. Recorded on a Zoom H4N.
Sound recording of a lamping being turned on and off. The light requires two turns to be activated and another two turns to be deactivated. The lamp is an antique, that was purchased at a thrift store in Newport News, Virginia, so the gears in the turn key has a sort of resonating echo that louder sound than a lot of newer lamps. This sound was recorded in a studio apartment and there was a small electric hum of the refrigerator in the background.
