Description:

Sound recording of a student playing a cabasa. A cabasa is a percussion instrument that is made of a steel ball chain wrapped around a wide cylinder with a handle. The original design of the instrument (agbe) originates from Africa in which gourds were used. The rhythm played in the recording is an eighth not followed by two sixteenth notes in a 2/4 meter. Recorded on a ZoomH1 recorder.
