Referenced Sounds
Coach Krzyzewski goes over some of the team plays with the team in a shoot around prior to a game. One can hear the voice of the other coaches talking in the background, also the bounce of the ball from the players as they prepare to run the plays. His voice was captivating as it was very manly and a little raspy. His voice sounded calm but with a lot of authority in it.
It starts off with hands clapping and the voices of players and coach Krzyzewski. in the background, and then Coach K comes talks to one of our best players. Coach K’s voice sounded very confident and convincing as he told the team on how to play and what he expected from them in the second half. The mixture of the clapping hands and the various voices made this piece very captivating, because it created an atmosphere with intensity
Coach K goes through the schedule with the team and tells them what the plan of the day was prior to the game. His voice was captivating has he sounded with a lot of authority and sounded like he was in charge and in command. His voice was very steady, the pitch remained at thesame level when he talked.
Coach talks about how tough it is to be a basketball player. And he focuses on the team playing 5 games in eight days and how tough it is mentally and physically. His voice was captivating has he sounded in a way that made it seem that he was encouraging the team to keep pushing forward. This piece was also very unique because one could hear the emotions in his voice. The pitch tend to change a little while he spoke and his voice was a little raspy.
The special thing about this part, was that coach K did less of the talking and most of the voices where from the players. It was mainly echo commands, as the players repeated whatever instruction coach gave. The players voices were captivating as they were a lot of energy generated in the gym from these voices.
