Glass
Im sure many of us are familiar with what happens at weddings, or any celebration for that matter. Things get a little loud and when its time to settle down to put the focus on one person, it calls for a toast. Here is a clip of me softly hitting my knife against a champagne glass.
The sound of coins being shaken around in a glass jar. As the jar is moved around, the coins hit the glass making a unique sound. They swirl around and hit each other and the faster it is swirled around, the louder it got.
Sound recording of water, from a pitcher, being poured into a tall glass containing three crescent-shaped ice cubes. Air conditioning unit may be heard in the background. Recorded on an iPhone 6, using the Spire recording app.
This sound captures the smashing of two windows using a tool. The video from which this sound was originally adapted is a demonstration of breaking a car window using an Automatic Center Punch tool. This video was recorded as a demonstration of the tool’s function for the manufacturing company’s promotional purposes. Extracted via YouTube clip.
I have a habit of spinning and snapping my keychain against my palm. For the sake of the recording, I repeated this action for twenty seconds. The bundle actually contains only two keys (one for my dorm room and one for my mailbox) and the rest consists of plastic (my Duke card and six Ben&Jerry's Flavor Fanatic Coupons). Recorded by iPhone Voice Memo.
This is a recording of glass bottles being collected from a recycling bin. Recorded on an iPhone 4 from the website www.freesound.org
