Sound recording of the soundscape of a study room in Georgia Tech's West Village Dining Hall. A study room typically involves individuals with laptops, books, and pencils; thus, the sounds of keyboard typing, page turning, and pen/pencil writing create the feel of a quiet study environment. However, a dining hall infused in a large, open study area exists behind the thin door leading into the study room. The soundscape of the study room as a result was recorded in relation to the soundscapes of the adjacent open area.

Sound recording of the rooftop garden on top of the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons on a windy afternoon. The primary sounds include a group of students collaborating together for a project along with birds chirping.  The strong winds and the machinery noise from the Bunger-Henry building's roof across Tech Green are the secondary sounds.  The sound was recorded with an Apple iPhone 7 using the voice memos application. 

Sound recording of the wood shop in the Invention Studio Makerspace at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The primary sound captured is the sound of a nail being hammered into a wooden board with secondary sounds including slight conversation and the use of an orbital sander. Recorded with the iPhone X microphone.

Sound recording from the front doors of West Village, a space utilized for dining and studying at Georgia Institute of Technology, as students walked in and out of the building on a Monday afternoon. Recorded with an iPhone 7.

Sound recording of a lecture taking place in Design Bloc located in the second floor of Georgia Tech Library. The recording presents a professor giving a lecture to his students. Despite professor’s efforts to block the noises from the study space using whiteboards, the recording shows that his lecture takes place in a space filled with disruptive noises. The following sound was recorded with Sony ECM DS70P Microphone connected to Galaxy S8 and edited with Audacity program.

Sound recording of a student typing on their MacBook Pro laptop in an empty classroom. The classroom has audible air conditioning running, and the sound of the student's sweater can be heard rubbing against the computer as they type. Recorded using a Blue Microphones Bluebird SL Large-Diaphragm condenser microphone and an Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX 4-Channel Mixer.

Sound recording with a primary sound of my professor Jankowski lecturing calculus 2. Also included are secondary sounds of creaking desks when students move, and the soft conversation of people sitting next to me.  Recorded on an Iphone 6s.
