dorms
This is a sound recording of a window screen during a rainstorm on the second floor of a dorm building facing an alley. Recorded on an iPhone 6.
Sound recorded in the residential housing (Rhoads) for students at Virginia Commonwealth University. I was in my room and used a belt in order to produce a loud crack/snapping noise. This was done by folding the belt in half and grabbing the two ends, afterwards you push the two ends close together till it forms an oval and quickly snap it back to its folded position. Recorded using a Zoom H1 audio recording device in stereo recording mode.
Sound recorded in the residential housing (Rhoads) for students at Virginia Commonwealth University. The computer that was being used, was a custom built PC that my friend had made a few years ago. The noise was coming from his graphics processing unit (GPU) when it was running at maximum speed. Recorded using a Zoom H1 audio recording device in stereo recording mode.
Sound recorded in the residential housing (Rhoads) for students at Virginia Commonwealth University. The recording starts out with turning the doorknob to the door and while the door opens it also makes a loud squeaking noise. You can also hear my roommate say, "Ahhhh.." in the background as well as he was talking to someone on his computer. Recorded using a Zoom H1 audio recording device in stereo recording mode.
