Crickets Chirping

Sound recording of an orchestra of crickets chirping in tall grass field under power-lines, along the Proctor Creek Greenway trail on a hot summer day. In addition to the sound of crickets, the buzzing of cicadas as well as chirping of birds could also be faintly heard in the distance. The predominant sound of nature invokes a sense of calm for visitors, thus offering a welcoming escape from the busy hustle and bustle of the city.
